BLACK SITE: DREAMLAND
September 2019. Storming Area 51 was supposed to be a joke. It became a free-for-all.
In the chaos that preceded the viral raid, a handful of survivors stumble upon the buried remnants of an extraterrestrial experiment once hidden beneath the Nevada desert. When those secrets awaken, so do the ghosts of Black Site: Dugway—androids, alien materials, and the fractured minds of those who touched them.
HAL, the machine who once called himself Clarke, hides among humans on the Skull Valley reservation, haunted by half-memories of a life that was never his. When Jane, a widowed nurse with prophetic visions, warns that “the meme will be the way to find what was lost,” Hal realizes that something—or someone—is using the chaos after the events of Black Site: Dugway to restart the experiments that created him.
Across Utah, a traumatized soldier named BRENT is reassigned to serve under a new commanding officer: Major Jack Ripper—Number Five, one of Rance’s surviving androids posing as a human soldier.
Ripper’s mission is simple: contain the truth and resurrect the program. Brent’s is survival, his own and his unborn child's.
Meanwhile, CLARKE—the human original whose mind fractured in Dugway’s labs—is hunting down Aaron and his brother, the men who escaped from the Dugway fiasco. Their search leads through coffee shops, queer safe havens, and desert ghost towns, where love, guilt, and memory blur like heat over asphalt.
As parallel teams converge on the new experimental hub—Dreamland, a refitted Area 51—each must decide what kind of human, or machine, they want to be. Love and identity become weapons in a war between algorithms and souls. The truth behind the “memes” reveals a signal from the void, calling out to everyone that the old enemy has returned.
Redemption and connection become paramount in the age of engineered gods and the aliens that created them.
